Inconel 725 alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy. [1] It has excellent corrosion resistance. Inconel725 corrosion resistance: basically the same as 625, such as: a little bit corroded in water and sea, good in H2SO4, not as good as nickel-molybdenum alloy in HCl, but it decreases above room temperature, and it decreases with increasing temperature in HF. Phosphoric acid is good, especially wet-process phosphoric acid. In HNO3, we recommend stainless steel due to price issues. The performance of chromic acid and organic acid is also good.
